Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst en bediening. We hebben 3 uur genoten van een heerlijke lunch. Het was allemaal erg lekker en verfijnd. Het bord van het warme gerecht was heet, zoals het hoort. We’ve been to this restaurant before. Had an excellent à la carte and okay menu del dias. Last night was Thai night, a set meal for €31. Starters were okay, main course terrible. Chicken Massaman curry was totally lacking in spice and tasted of nothing but sugar. Pork with ginger and pineapple, not much pork, virtually no ginger, at least the pineapple was fresh. The sauce was bland, very poor. Their attempt at pad Thai was appalling. Slimy noodles, again no spicing discernible, a very poor stab at this dish. I’ve saved the worst for last. It was billed as fish in tempura batter. Fillets of pretty tasteless fish (tilapia or something similar) dipped in flour and fried. Served on a few bean shoots et cetera. No way was this tempura batter and I was disappointed to see they’d left the skin on as well. This dish was actively unpleasant, we all had one bite and left it. At least we thought we couldn’t go wrong with the pudding, banana fritters with coconut ice cream. Wrong. Warmed up banana rolled in horrible desiccated coconut flakes with vanilla ice cream. Don't expect quick service because that's not what it's all about.
